What is NEC Youth?

NEC Youth is the Youth Department of the North England Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, covering a geographical area that includes the Midlands and North England from just south of Birmingham all the way up to the Scottish border. Within this area are more than 100 churches.

The role of the NEC Youth Department is to organize events for youth across the area that meet their spiritual, physical and emotional needs. In addition to events, we organize training for youth leaders and provide resources for youth ministry.

In line with the General Conference Youth Department our mission, aim, motto and pledge is as follows:

AY MISSION:
The salvation of youth through Jesus Christ. We understand youth ministry to be that work of the church that is conducted for, with, and by young people.

AY AIM:
The Advent message to all the world in my generation.

AY MOTTO:
The love of Christ compels me.

AY PLEDGE:
Loving the Lord Jesus, I promise to take an active part in the youth ministry of the church, doing what I can to help others and to finish the work of the Gospel in all the world.
